Although I've posted about the HTC codename Panther of the Palm Treo Pro before (see here), I've found real proof now. Here's the output of a little unicode search into the files on the Treo Pro:

Search complete, found 'panther' 13 time(s). (3 file(s)).
Especially the references in jbed.exe are interesting: they contain the string "project\wince_tw\htc\panther" and also the project date: 20080716!
Update: Not shown in the output above, but available if you look in the file smem.dll manually, is a string "e:\wm610_19216\platform\panther\csp\amss\services\smem\smsm.c". Similarly in the file rilphone.dll you'll find "e:\wm610_19216\platform\panther\drivers\rilphone\htcdrv.cpp"
