Here is a quick user report on the Carcomm Mobile Phone Cradle for the Palm Treo Pro. There were reports about this active car holder before, going back to November 2008, but now it really is available! According to the Carcomm website, the strong points of this cradle are: perfect fit, high efficiency charging system that works on 12V & 24V, and all necessary accessories included.

Admit it, there’s one thing a dedicated navigation device (PND) does better than most mobile phones and PDAs: free traffic information via TMC/RDS over FM radio.

There are solutions to this, but most of them consist of a special charging cable plugged into the cigarette lighter and at the other end of the cable a custom jack for your pda or mobile phone.

There are many ways you can protect your Treo Pro, and they all have their disadvantages: soft leather cases are expensive and stop protecting when you get your device out, silicone cases look ugly and add a lot of bulk and screen protectors alone don’t protect the whole device. 

There is another solution, it’s called “scratch-proof transparent protective skin” and we’ll review one for the Treo Pro, which we kindly received from BodyGuardz. It doesn’t add much bulk, it’s almost completely invisible and protects all sides of your device.

It took weeks before it arrived, but I've finally received the original Palm Treo Pro Cradle (art. A610-448) to dock, recharge and synchronize the Treo Pro 850:

As with all the packaging of the Treo Pro, it arrives in a rectangular box that sits tilted on the desk. Despite the same "corner shaved off" of the packaging, it doesn't give you the same feel of quality as with the Treo Pro box itself.

Luckily, that is not important as the contents is what we're longing for:
